Privacy policy
This policy explains what information dayzero.run collects and how we use it when you visit the website, create an account, use the d0 CLI, or deploy a project.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, password hash, account plan, API token, and assigned project information.
- Project information: uploaded static files, subdomain, deployment records, visibility setting, access code, and tunnel status.
- Service information: requests, IP address, device or browser details, diagnostic logs, traffic, and storage usage.
- Website analytics: dayzero.run uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage. Google may set analytics cookies or receive device and usage information.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and secure the service, authenticate accounts and CLI requests, publish projects, enforce plan limits, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, communicate about the service, and improve dayzero.run.
Storage and sharing
We use infrastructure and service providers to host the website, API, database, project files, and analytics. We share information with those providers only as needed to operate the service, comply with law, or protect dayzero.run and its users. We do not sell personal information.
Public and private projects
Public projects can be opened by anyone with the URL. Private projects use a 6-digit access code, which is intended for simple sharing control rather than high-security authentication. Do not deploy secrets or highly sensitive information.
Retention and your choices
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for operations, security, legal obligations, and backups. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account information by emailing us. Some records may be retained when legally or operationally required.
Security
We use safeguards designed to protect account and project information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your API token private and report suspected vulnerabilities through our security page.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material updates will be reflected by the date above. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@dayzero.run.
